The conference is
co-organized with a group of research centres active in the field of the
natural hazards evaluation and prediction: the Centre for Environmental
Monitoring (CIMA) of the University of Genova, the
Centre for the Management of Natural Hazards (CUGRI) of the University of
Salerno, the Dept. of Environmental Engineering and Physics (DIFA) of the
University of Basilicata and the Institute of Advanced Methodologies of
Environmental Analyis (IMAAA) of the Italian Research
Council. The Research Group for Prevention from Hydro-Geological Disasters of
the Italian Research Council sponsors the conference.
