January 2004 - February 2007: Ph.D. student at the Politecnico di Torino on the theme "Non-supervised statistical methods for the prediction of hydrological variables in ungauged sites", carried out at the Hydraulic Department of the Politecnico di Torino, under the supervision of Prof. Pierluigi Claps and Dr. Francesco Laio.
October 2003 - February 2004: Scholarship on the theme "Physical and hydrological characterisation of river catchments in Piedmont" financed by Regione Piemonte, carried out at the Hydraulic Department of the Politecnico di Torino, under the supervision of Prof. Pierluigi Claps.
July 2002: Master Degree with full marks and honors in Environmental Engineering. The thesis concerned "Turbulence structures in the canopy layer".
